Jasmine Leshnick
Jasmine Leshnick is a soccer player from San Francisco, CA. She was the leading scorer on one of the top youth clubs in the Bay area, a member of the regional ODP, was appointed to the U.S. U17 National team and played with the San Francisco Glens before signing with Harvard University.
Excellence on and off the Field
When Jasmine Soukamneuth Leshnick's parents signed her up for a pre-school soccer league at the age of two, no one could have imagined just how far she would go in the sport.
Jasmine quickly distinguished herself on the field and joined the De Anza Force 05 ENCL (originally CA Thorns DA) in San Jose, CA, where she was frequently asked to play up with the older ‘04 and ‘03/02 teams. The CA Thorns DA team has been consistently ranked a top 10 DA league club in the country and in the fall 2019/winter 2020 were ranked #1 and #2 by TopDrawerSoccer.com. She was the clubs leading scorer from 2019 to 2022 before going on to play club for FC Bay Area Surf her senior year in high school.
Jasmine's accomplishments caught the attention of U.S.A soccer and she was invited to several Youth National Team (YNT) identifier trainings, was selected for the regional 2021 Olympic Development Team (ODP) and appointed to the U17 U.S. National Team. She has also played with the San Francisco Glens SC, a 4th tier professional team in the Bay Area.
Jasmine attended one of the most academically challenging schools in San Francisco, Lick-Wilmerding where she was crowned MVP. In addition to soccer she participated in lacrose and track. Jasmine will continue her education and soccer career as a member of the Harvard University women's soccer team. She is a versatile player that primarily plays Mid-Field and Forward.
Jasmine traces her ancestry to Vientiane Laos. .
