The Big Man on Campus.

The 6’2” and 275 lbs offensive lineman from Centennial High School in Gresham Oregon didn’t garner much interest from big time Division I schools at first but that didn’t stop him from chasing his dream. He started his college career as a walk-on at Oregon State but will go out as a scholarship athlete and the anchor of the offensive line.  The versatile Nous Keobounnam is able to seamlessly switch between guard and center.

The scholarship and starting position didn't come easy. Nous worked hard in the weight room and on the practice field.  During the 2019 season he played all twelve games, eleven of them as the starting center.  During the short covid impacted 2020 season, Nous started every game at right guard.  He returned to the field in 2021 under the NCAA extra year of eligibility due to Covid where he became a force in the Pac-12 conference including being named offensive lineman of the week after his performance in the Bevers 42-34 win over Utah on October 23, 2021. Nous was named second-team Pac-12 All-Conference and played his final game as a college athlete at the 2021 Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.  During the LA Bowl Nous went head to head with Utah State's AJ Vongphachanh in what is believed to be the first game where two Laotian last names appeared on the jerseys of opposite teams during an NCAA D1 match.

Nous is the son of Visa and Somsamay Keobounnam.
